A few years ago nobody had ever imagined the advancement in Broadband internet in India.I personally used to feel that using broadband would remain a distant dream and I would have to remain satisfied with 32 kbps internet.
But thanks to MTNL Broadband service (Triband) the dream has become reality. I now use 512 Kbps internet service with unlimited download facility. But the real revolution is the price of service. 512 Kbps , unlimited download is available for just 599 Rs ie $ 13.5 pm.
Here's comparison between my previous internet plan and the current one-

The speed is amazing.I now enjoy visiting sites like You tube and watch online videos. With 64KBps download speed one can download anywhere between 200 MB and 225 MB in just 1 hour. Earlier I used to get 4 KBps download speed and it used to take hours to even download few Mb size files.
This has opened new competion and I hope private ISP's dont lag behind and offer better services at affordable prices. Clearly the winner here is the ulimate consumer. Again thanks to MTNL Triband. You Guys are the drivers of India's progress.Great job.
